Wheel Options

Hey all:

Have a couple questions I hope one of you peeps knows the answer to.

1 - What bolt pattern is really common, and would be a good bolt pattern to go with?

2 - For someone who is NOT racing and just wants more flexibility in wheel choice, is it cheaper/less time consuming to get spacer conversion plates or to have your axles re-drilled?
3 - I was thinking about using a Ranger's rear axles to get to 5-lug in the rear. Do they just swap directly in?
4 - I haven't been able to find any direct swap, will anything from the junkyard just fit without mods/drilling?
